CPUC is seeking a Construction Field Supervisor to oversee and supervise contractors performing construction work under the CWSSP project. This position is a full-time contract for an initial period of 24 months, with the possibility of extension based on construction progress and mutual agreement.

Required Qualifications for Position
Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to read and understand construction plans.
Minimum of five years in the construction industry in a supervisory role.
Valid driver's license
Responsibilities of the Position
Observe the contractor's activities and note all relevant details in agreed diary and report forms.
Be familiar with parts of the Specification related tot he construction being undertaken.
Ensure that construction activities are in compliance with plans and specifications.
Regularly inspect the areas of work and report upon the quality of workmanship of the contractor.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
Perform daily site inspection and attend meetings as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
