CPUC is seeking a responsible and vigilant Security Guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment at the Sewer Treatment Plant. This position plays a key role in protecting personnel, facilities, and equipment by monitoring site access, conducting routine patrols, and responding to any suspicious activities. The successful candidate will help ensure the safety of operations while upholding security procedures and safe working practices at all times.

Required Qualifications for Position
High School Diploma or GED.
Prior experience in security or related field preferred.
Able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Physically fit to work in any work environment.
Responsibilities of the Position
Ensures the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets on site.
Conducts regular inspections around the premise.
Monitors property entrance.
Authorizes entrance of people and vehicles.
Patrols property on foot.
Ensures personnel, assets, buildings, gates, and fence perimeter are secure in all weather conditions.
Ensures Standard Operating Procedures are followed at all times.
Follows safe working practice at all times.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
