CPUC is seeking to hire a hard-working and dedicated Lineman to join our Tonoas crew. The role involves installing or repairing power lines that run above or below ground. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, inspecting and repairing power lines as needed. Ultimately, the candidate will work with the lineman crew to maintain distribution primary and secondary lines and ensure they are in good working condition.

Required Qualifications for Position
High School Diploma or equivalent
Have an up-to-date Driver's License
Clean Driving Record
Extensive experience with climbing gear
Superb troubleshooting skills
Great organizational and time-management skills
Responsibilities of the Position
Regular operations of the primary and secondary distribution lines.
Regular maintenance of the distributions lines, equipment poles, transformers, meters, and service lines.
Climb poles and use truck-mounted buckets to reach power lines and other equipment.
Clear away tree branches or other hazards near live power installations.
Attend to call-outs and perform repairs in efficient and timely manner.
Report progress, complications, concerns, and delays to the supervisor.
Drive work vehicles to job sites.
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed at all times.
Follow safe working practice at all times.
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
