Perform internal household wiring in support of the Sustainable Energy Development and Access Project. These positions will support electrifications through the installations of safe and compliant internal wiring for homes connected to the solar mini-grid systems, contributing to improved access to reliable and sustainable electricity across the islands.

Required Qualifications for Position
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in internal wiring.
Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and wiring systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physically able to perform required tasks.
Certification or license is an advantage.
Responsibilities of the Position
Perform internal electrical wiring for residential houses connected to the solar mini-grid systems.
Install wiring, outlets, switches, distribution boards, and related electrical components in accordance with approved standards and safety codes.
Ensure household wiring is compatible with solar mini-grid power systems.
Conduct testing of internal wiring to verify safety, functionality, and compliance prior to energization.
Troubleshoot and correct wiring defects or non-compliance issues.
Follow all electrical safety procedures and project guidelines.
Coordinate with project supervisors, engineers, and solar system installers to ensure timely completion of work.
Maintain accurate records of completed installations and inspections.
Safeguard tools, materials, and equipment assigned to the project.
Provide basic guidance to homeowners on safe use of electrical installations when required.
Follow contamination control, rules or regulations.
Perform other duties as directed by Regional Electrification Manager.
