Wind Power

In August 2013 CPUC  installed two wind masts to measure wind direction and speed data within the Truk Lagoon area Рone on the main island of Weno and one on Tonoas. The data collected  will be used to assess the viability of wind power as a sustainable and cost effective energy source for inclusion in CPUC power generation mix.
